I am a Registered Professional Counsellor (RPC) and I hold a Master Professional Clinical Counsellor (MPCC) with the Canadian Professional Counsellors Association (CPCA). As well, I am a registered member of the Canadian College of Professional Counsellors and Psychotherapists (CCPCP).
I have specialized in family dynamics, addictions, depression & anxiety, domestic violence, divorce and separation, parenting after separation, parent-child relationships, addictions, depression, anxiety, dealing with anger, interpersonal relationships, personal & emotional enhancement, and cross-cultural for individual, couples and families.
Worked with families facing transitions since 1985. Most people can find motivation to change. As a counsellor/therapist, I connect and engage with the person creating a safe and confidential space. My role is to facilitate a therapeutic conversational process that supports clients to become aware of their options and strengths.
I use cross cultural intervention empowering people to explore barriers and possibilities safely. Clients learn and practice effective ways of dealing with challenging emotions and behaviors. I encourage individuals and family to achieve personal goals and feel rewarded.
I speak English and Spanish. My passion is to inspire people to reach their goals. Clients come looking for answers and I help them clarify what is important to them and what steps to take to achieve them.
